About me

I absolutely love words, always have, always will. I love fiction, non-fiction, poetry and essentially every genre but science fiction (Sorry trekkies, I am not your girl). But most significantly I have encountered the Word of Life through Christ. I’m a daughter to the King of Kings, a wife to an amazing man, and a mother to three crazy little boys. My husband directs Campus Outreach San Diego which means that I have the incredible opportunity of watching God transform the lives of college women through discipleship.  In my spare time I love to thrift, drink copious amounts of coffee and interact with college students about Christ.

  1. Hi Aimee! I too have had two close friends lose their moms this last year and a friend diagnosed with cancer and have had so much grief – words couldn’t capture. Thanks for your post, that I’ve sent along to them!

  2. Thanks so much for your post at Desiring God this morning about the myth of maternal bliss. “My children are great kids, but they are not always worth it. On the hard days, when the wheels come off and things fall apart around here, I choose this because I believe Jesus to be worthy.” This was a lightbulb moment for me!

  3. I’m very encouraged and sharpened by your ponderings.

Do you have a way to subscribe to your blog? I’d love for it to come to me vs me needing to go to it each time. Ha.

    1. Hey Janea! Thanks for asking! I am not the most tech-savvy human alive, so the only way I know for that to happen is for you to create a WordPress username and follow my blog. When you do that, an email is sent to you whenever I post! I hope that is helpful. Thanks for reading!
